Issuer services

Our issuer services address the increasing needs of our clients for innovative and efficient securities services. These services are tailored to our clients' requirements and powered by state-of-the-art technology, meaning that when it comes to setting up an ISIN, they can use either an Internet-based terms (IBT) or Internet-based listing (IBL) system, which is provided by SIX Swiss Exchange Ltd. Issuer services works together with other business fields of SIX, ensuring that data need only be entered once via the IBT/IBL system – this means that all market participants have access to the same information at the same time.

Clients can choose to register new issues using individual physical certificates, global certificates or in the form of uncertificated securities. Registering a new issue in the form of uncertificated securities has many advantages for clients, for example, a reduction of opening costs; in addition, there are no costs whatsoever for dispatching, insuring and destroying certificates and the process of providing holding statements is simplified.
